The Nip Nebs Trail

The Nip Nebs Trail is a three dimensional interactive story trail with Nip Nebs himself, author Susi Briggs and illustrator Ruthie Redden. On the trail we help Nip Nebs to find the pixies,  strinkle icy draps on speeder webs and paint windaes wi a glisk o forests and ferns!
Nip Nebs is a Scots language picture book for children. A melodic imagining of an ancient Scottish sprite also known as Jack Frost. Published by Curly Tale Books Ltd

Previous Nip Neb Trails

The Nip Nebs Trail is designed tae raise awareness o the Scots language.  We dae this by bringin Ruthie Redden's enchanting illustrations tae life!
  Through finding the Scots Words Pixies and completing tasks wi Nip Nebs himsel the weans learn whit the Scots words mean in the buik.  The aim is tae encourage the next generation o weans tae recognise the beauty and celebrate the validity o the Scots language.
